Plantain Chips:

Plantain chips are all time favorite of kids and adults alike. It can be enjoyed hot with coffee and tea.
Also it makes an excellent starter recipe of get-to-gethers and parties. Yesterday I prepared this yummy snack and it got emptied up within minutes.

Ingredients:

  • Plantain       - 2
  • pepper pwd - 1/2 tsp
  • salt              - to taste
  • oil               - to deep fry

Method:

  1. Slice the plantain to fine pieces.
  2. Add turmeric pwd and salt to warm water.
  3. Add the slices to the water.
  4. Drain and set aside.
  5. Allow the moisture to dry.
  6. Heat oil in a fry pan.
  7. Once the oil is hot, add the slices.
  8. Deep fry until it is golden and crispy.
  9. Yummy delicious plantain chips are ready.

Here goes the all time favorite recipe to make the healthy diet. Weight watchers love to snack this all time because they feel their tummy full and healthy.

Ingredients:

  • Carrot       - 2
  • Onion       - 2
  • Tomato     - 2
  • Cucumber - 2

Method:

  1. Chop all the veggies in regular dice shapes.
  2. Place all of them in the bowl.
  3. Add salt, lemon juice, pepper pwd and cumin pwd.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Serve in bowl.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and mint leaves.

  4. Place the tin and bake for 20 mins.
  5. Insert tooth pick and check.
